Delete your account — My ADHD Dump

You can erase your account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

The fastest way — in the app

Open My ADHD Dump
Tap your profile picture (top left) → App settings
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account & all data
Confirm. You'll be asked to sign in once more — this is to make sure it's really you, since deletion can't be undone.

Your personal account content is erased immediately.

If you can't use the app

If you've already uninstalled it, can't sign in, or would rather we did it, email unusualsoftware.support@gmail.com from the email address you signed in with (your Google or Apple account address) with the subject "Delete my account".

We'll confirm within two business days and delete within 30 days. We ask you to write from the address on the account because it's the only way we can tell it's really yours — we won't delete an account on the say-so of an address we can't match.

What gets deleted

Your personal account content, permanently:

Your account and sign-in record
Every voice dump and its transcript
Your entire mind map — all nodes, connections, and notes
All tasks, events and reminders
Your mood history and calendar
Your notification registration for this device
Your subscription record on our side

There is no grace period and no undo. If you want to keep anything, save it before you delete.

The honest caveats

We'd rather tell you this than have you assume otherwise:

Backups. We back up our database daily. A backup taken before you deleted will still contain your data until it rotates out, a short time later. We don't restore backups to bring deleted accounts back.
What's already been sent to our AI providers. Transcribing and organising a dump means sending it to companies we don't control. Deleting your account erases our copy; it doesn't reach into their systems. What they keep is governed by their terms, which is explained in our privacy policy.

What we keep afterwards

A one-way identifier fingerprint. We may retain this only to prevent recreation or abuse of a deleted account. It cannot recover your account or any deleted content.
Your audio recordings — nothing. They're deleted from our servers as soon as they're transcribed, long before you ask.
Crash reports. Diagnostic reports from app errors sit in our error-reporting provider's system and are deleted automatically on their retention schedule. They carry no transcripts, no email address, and nothing that identifies you.
Subscription status and purchase-related data are handled through RevenueCat and Apple's in-app purchase system. We use this data only to provide and restore subscription access. We do not collect or store payment-card information. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.

Cancelling your subscription

Your subscription is billed through Apple's in-app purchase system, so only Apple can cancel it. Deleting your account will not stop the billing — cancel first, then delete.
