Terms of Service.

Last updated: 2026-05-03

These terms govern your use of My ADHD Dump and any other apps, websites, or services operated by Unusual Software ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

1. Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. You're responsible for keeping that account secure. If you suspect someone else is using your account, sign out and contact us.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use the service. If you're under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf.

2. What we provide

We give you a license to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, while these terms are in effect. The license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.

3. What you create

Your dumps, transcripts, mind map, tasks, and events ("Your Content") belong to you. We don't claim ownership.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely so the service can function — for example, transcribing your audio, organizing it into a mind map, and showing it back to you on your devices.

You're responsible for what you record. Don't dump anything you don't have the right to record (for example, a conversation that legally requires the other person's consent in your jurisdiction).

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The app has a free tier and paid tiers. Paid tiers are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their billing terms.

6. AI-generated output

The app uses speech-to-text and language models to transcribe and structure your dumps. These models can make mistakes. Treat the output as a draft, not a source of truth — especially for dates, names, and anything time-sensitive. Always sanity-check before acting on it.

We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI output. The app is a tool for capturing and organizing your own thinking, not advice.

7. Intellectual property

The app, our website, our designs, our trademarks, and our code are owned by Unusual Software and protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms don't transfer any of that to you, except for the license in Section 2.

8. Third-party services

The app relies on third-party providers (listed in our Privacy Policy). Your use of the app is also subject to their terms where applicable — for example, the Apple Media Services Terms and Google Play Terms when paying for subscriptions.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if it's necessary to protect the service or other users, or if we're legally required to. We'll notify you when we can.

When your account is deleted, Your Content is permanently removed within a reasonable window, except where we're required to keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet a specific need. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The app is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or manage ADHD or any other condition. If you need clinical support, talk to a qualified professional.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unusual Software will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United States, except where local consumer-protection law gives you the right to a different forum.

15. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
